October 31, 2013: This is a great day for me and Guy. We are adopted together. I don't think I could have live without him, he's my Best Pal! My foster mom is so happy for us but she says we have been here so long we are her pups and now we have found our forever home! What a Halloween, it's one to remember.
Hi, my name is Miss Izzy and I am very pretty. Here's my story I don't know what happened to my first owners but my second family found me outside their house and it was the middle of winter. They took care of me through the winter but they had four other dog's and couldn't keep me. My third home had no intentions of keeping me when they took me in, they were just helping out until they could find a rescue to help with Miss Izzy.
I don't think Izzy has people figured out yet. She was in three homes before she came into rescue and is only 1.5 years old. There have been people who have not been so nice to her in her lifetime or she wouldn't be so unsure.
UPDATE: March 3, 2014. Miss Liz, which I call her now is simply amazing! It has taken months for her to come around, but the girl did it. She is excited whe Sophie (12) and Kendall (8) come to visit, no anxieties. She greets people and walks up to let them pet her. I am positive that it would take her time to settle in at a new home but she's worth it. Go slow and take your time and gain her trust and you will have the Best Dobie Girl in town. Izzy is skiddish and she will warn you with a low growl, when she doesn't like something. I would not reccomend her in a home with kid's. She loves her crate and will go right into it, she likes to sleep on the couch. I would not try and get her out of her crate, she will growl just call her and she willl come right out. She likes to eat in her crate and she is a very slow eater. She loves dogs and to play and she can get wound up, she is in her element around dogs, and she loves her toys. She isn't so hard, but if you are looking for warm and cuddly she hasn't reached that stage. She will however give you kisses and then abruptly take off.
Izzy will be be OK when she figures it out, it will take time and patience and suddenly one day it will all be OK with Miss Izzy. It will take an experienced owner with patience and Izzy will find her Happy Forever home.
