2020 Jezze "Crossed the Rainbow Bridge!"

May 12, 2015: Jezzie has been back in the program for 3.5 months. She has no issues with other dogs, we have workd passed that.  She plays hard and she is not left unseprvised in the yard for long periods of time. Jezzie is a lovely Doberman.

Dogs as with children only know what you teach them and they have to be supervised.

Dobermans want to be in charge of everything and so you have to teach them exceptable behavior and they will respect you.

DOBERMANS ARE NOT THE BREED FOR EVEYRONE. THEY ARE A WORKING BREED DOG, THEY ARE HIGH MAINTNENACE DOGS. YOU HAVE TO BE SMARTER THEN THE DOG AND IF YOU ARE EVERYTHING WILL BE A-OK.

March 21, 2015: Jezzie would be happiest being an only Dog and definetely NO CATS. If you are dog savy and have a very structured home it would work with another Dog. Jezzie needs structure and would like to have the upper hand with other dogs and that doesn't work out for her sometimes. Jezzie is a very good listener and wants to please her people.

January 29, 2015: I am being returned. The woman stated that after 6 months Jezzie was to High Energy cause Post traumatic Stress Syndrome and had issues with the small dog. She also doesn't know any obedience commands and is not working out as a Service Dog?

Jezzie was never trained as a Service Dog. She does know all basic command and obeys them, she is crated trained but doesnt have to be, she is housebroke and very affectionate.

In her original home Jezzie ived with a Maltese mix. Her owner had back surgery Nov 2013 and had steel rods and pins and was not able to lift or bend, that is why she was originally turned in. She lived with John from the time she was 10 weeks old approximately 2 years.

We don't know about her and children, she has never lived with them.

We are going to hold on to Jezzie for atleast 30 days before placing.  Jezzie has been fine in every foster homes she has been and has been with other dogs.

July 14, 2014: I have a new dad and mom! MY dad was over in Afghanistan he arrived in the states yesterday. As soon as he was processed this morning he drove here to meet Izzy, Boo and Me and he picked ME!

I am so Lucky and Happy I will have a great home with my new mom and dad! It's a Happy Day for a Doberman and my dad is retired now from the Army so life is good!

June 25, 2014: Hi, my new name is Jeni my original owner called me Jezi. I am back and I am a happy girl. I am in a foster home with two other female Dobermans and one male. I am house trained and I will go in a crate or behind a baby gate if you want me too.

Jan. 2014: Adopted and returned June 2014.  The two dogs got tangled in each others collar. Big fight and medical bills.

Novermber 2013: I am a very good girl and I give kisses. I met alot of dogs today and I was so happy to play with them. I don't want to live with any cats. I lived with a Maltese.

I am a very petite girl and I have great house manners. I don't know what is going on right now but I fit in real good with everyone here at my foster home.

NO CATS OR CHILDREN UNDER 10 YEARS OF AGE.

ADOPTIONS WITHIN A 100 MILE RADIUS OF THE ST. LOUIS AREA.

SECURELY FENCED YARD, HOME VISIT AND HEARTWORM PREVENTION REQUIRED YEAR ROUND.
